Regional Ethnology of Scotland Project

This innovative project is being conducted by the European Ethnological Research Centre, University of Edinburgh. It main aim is to collect and make widely available primary source material that illustrates everyday life and society in Scotland, past and present. It is divided into two main themes: the Spoken Word, and the Written Word. Local participation is at the heart of the Project, with volunteers having the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the collecting process. Click the links below to find out more.
